Nigel FX Ultra Mud is a finely mineral-based powder that, when added to water, results in smooth mud consistency. It is light taupe in coloration, allowing it to be easily tinted with tempera paint or other cosmetic pigments. Ultra Mud cracks as it dries, creating a dry riverbed effect on skin when applied thickly. For a soiled effect, apply dry with a soft brush or canvas dirt bag. Also great for aging costumes. Non-toxic.
For a thick mud effect, mix about one part Ultra Mud to four parts water, allow to cure for 2 hours, and then dilute further to obtain desired consistency.
